Cezars International K.K. is currently looking for a candidate to fill the restaurant regional manager role in downtown central Nagoya, Japan with Shooters Sports Bar & Grill and The Rock Aussie Sports Bar & Grill.


The position is full-time and comes with competitive salary, benefits and incentives. Applicants must currently reside in Nagoya or be willing to relocate to the area.

Role and Job Description

As a regional restaurant/bar manager, you will be responsible to oversee all locations (currently 3) to make sure each location/manager is providing customers the perfect visit, quality of service, food and atmosphere to maximize guest experience and ensure we exceed customer expectations. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of the restaurants putting the customer experience first while staying focused on managing costs to achieve profit and financial goals. You will be expected to work during peek periods like late nights, weekends, holidays and when there are large events.

General Requirements:

  • Can connect with customers and develop strong relationships to encourage repeat patronage
  • Business level of written and spoken Japanese
  • Five (5) years of restaurant/bar management experience
  • Hospitality industry knowledge and experience
  • Team-leadership experience
  • Is self-motivated and high energy
  • Experienced in training-team members
  • Restaurant/bar promotions experience
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • Attention to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and goal-oriented
  • Problem solving skills
  • General Kitchen knowledge/experience

Specific Duties:

  • Manage all management team in duties and performance, providing feedback where necessary, and reporting team strengths and weaknesses to management
  • Monitor and manage costs
  • Motivate, guide, and mentor management team members to exceed goals and create a positive environment during shifts
  • Hiring and training decisions
  • Train new management team members in company standards, customer service, and job duties
  • Oversee work quality and verify the satisfactory meeting of company and regulation standards
  • Work with other managers to set and evaluate stock, logistics, projects, and overall goals
  • Strictly adhere to deadlines by communicating expectations to team members, setting goals, motivating team members, and disciplining where necessary
  • Create an atmosphere that fosters delivering superior customer service
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of company products and services, and offer technical support and information to team member
  • Oversee sales goal, employee development, and business development
  • Work closely with the chef and maintain a high standard of food service that reflects the Shooters brand
