Power English is a unique English School located in Fushimi, Nagoya inside Shooters Sports Bar and Grill.


We are currently looking for someone to be our full-time manager and main teacher.


We need someone who will be fully-engaged with the students and enthusiastic about the job. Must be outgoing, personable and sales driven. Responsibility and accountability are key.

Basic Requirements:

  • Native-Level English Speaker
  • 3+ years experience teaching adults
  • Management experience preferred
  • Sales driven
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Must currently be living in Japan
  • Must currently have a valid working visa which we can renew
  • Japanese language proficiency is not necessary, but a plus

Basic Details:

  • Work Type: Direct Hire/Full-Time
  • Industry: Education/Teaching
  • Salary: ￥250,000/month (+Commission/Bonus)
  • Location: Nagoya (Fushimi)
  • Visa: Sponsorship available

Responsibilities:

  • Teaching classes as the main teacher
  • Hiring/managing teachers and staff
  • Managing demo lessons and new students
  • Driving monthly sales
  • Organizing payroll with office
  • Facilitating monthly school events
