Shooters Sports Bar & Grill /The Rock Aussie Sports Bar & Grill, Nagoya are currently looking for candidates to fill the role of Chef/Head Chef. This position is full-time and comes with attractive benefits and incentives. Suitable applicants should currently reside in Nagoya or be willing to relocate to the area and be driven to produce the highest quality consistently great food. We are looking for someone who can create our current menu and bring to the table new, exciting items that fit our brands. With over 50 food service locations throughout Asia there will be a great opportunity for career advancement for the person with the right skill set.


Shooters Sports Bar & Grill and The Rock, Nagoya currently have over 30 team members working to provide the highest level of personalized service to our thousands of customers we've been taking care of for more than 25 years. We are constantly evolving and growing the business and, as such, are always looking for great team members to assist in carrying out the day to day business of our restaurant.

Qualifications:

  • English and Japanese comprehension
  • 5-7 years previous kitchen experience required
  • Culinary education background preferred
  • Self-motivated
  • Experience working in a busy environment
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • Detail-oriented and goal-oriented
  • Must currently reside in Japan

Remuneration:

  • Salary: ¥220,000 ~ ¥300,000 / month
    (Depending on experience and qualifications.)

  • Cooking/creating outstanding meals every day
  • Preparing all ingredients for current and new menus
  • Menu development
  • Cost control
  • Maintaining the highest hygiene standards
