We are currently seeking a part-time cook at a cafeteria in an international school located in Karuizawa, Nagano.

Working Location:

5827-136 Nagakura, Karuizawa, Kitasaku District, Nagano 〒389-011

Work Description:

  • Cooking from Scratch with love.
  • Ensuring promptness, freshness, and quality of dishes.
  • Implementing hygiene policies and examining equipment for cleanliness.
  • Keep the kitchen looking fun and inviting, updating signage and displays.
  • Monitor kitchen to ensure proper use of product and inventory control while keeping waste to a minimum.
  • Ensure register is properly opened every day and ‘end of day’ is closed out every evening.
  • Maintain a safe work environment for all staff and guests.
  • Storing ingredients and food items according to food safety standards.
  • Carry out any other duties as required by management.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid visa to work in Japan.
  • Previous work experience as a cook or graduate from culinary school.
  • Must work well within a team culture.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Working Days & Hours:

  • 5 days/week (Fri & Sat off)
  • Sun, Mon: 11:00 ~ 20:00
  • Tue, Wed. Thu: 9:00 ~ 18:00

Salary:

￥1,200 / hour
